Product Description

What is it?

Shikakai is referred to as “fruit for the hair.” It has a naturally mild pH, and it gently cleans the hair without stripping it of natural oils. Use Shikakai Powder as a natural hair wash for sensitive scalps or to control dandruff. Shikakai Powder is said to promote hair growth and strengthen hair roots.

How to use?

DAILY SHAMPOO:
– Use one tbsp per use:
– Mix with warm/hot water to make and applicable paste.
– Mix either in bowl or in hands.
– Massage well into hair and scalp.
– Apply directly to hair using hands.
– Massage well into scalp. From root of hair, work evenly to top of hair.
– After light lather build-up, comb through (wide-tooth comb) for best treatment/cleansing effect.
– When done, leave on head for 3 to 5 minutes.

Rinse out thoroughly (NO conventional shampoo) until all product removed. Conditioner optional.

WEEKLY/MONTHLY TREATMENT:
Use one full packet for shoulder-length hair (two plus for longer; three plus for hair to waist):
– Pour powder into a quart-sized bowl.
– Add enough warm/hot water to make and applicable paste.
– Apply directly to hair using hands.
– Massage well into scalp. From root of hair, work evenly to top of hair. Take your time.
– After light lather build-up, comb through (wide-tooth comb) for best treatment effect.
– Cover head with provided plastic cap.
– Leave on head for one hour.
– Rinse out with warm water (NO conventional shampoo) until all product removed.
– Conditioner recommended after the hour—will help aid in treatment removal.

Remember: It’s natural, no added perfumes.
