He Shou Wu is also known as Foti root, Fo-ti-teng, or Ho Shou Wu. He Shou Wu is an ancient Chinese remedy, and like Reishi, is classed as a Superior Tonic Herb in Chinese medicine. He Shou Wu is recognised as one of the most amazing longevity tonics of all time. It is widely used in Chinese herbal medicine to increase energy and restore a youthful condition to the body, by it’s tonifying effect on the Kidney and Liver. He Shou Wu is extremely rich in essential trace minerals zinc and Iron and other rare elements and is a potent antioxidant.

How to use?

1/2 – 1 tsp once or twice daily, AM and / or PM, or more as recommended by your health care professional.

A typical dose of He shou wu is 3 g of the raw herb 3 times daily, the raw herb is said to be more effective for constipation.

We love this and have it often! Mix 1/2 – 1 tsp once or twice daily in food or liquid. Mix 1/4 teaspoon into hot water for a coffee-like drink, add nut milk and sweetener for a latte, cacao powder for mocca style.
